—TD is a well-known Bank in Canada and abroad. Undergoing a major redesign of all digital assets, they were looking to redefine their system of iconography to fit expanding needs. Key components to consider were: support storytelling, visual hierarchy, and simplifying the user's journey.
From February to September, I worked under contract at TD. While there, my tasks included:
• Researching iconography
• Comparative brand analysis (Desktop, Mobile, iWatch)
• Define sizes across devices (Desktop, Mobile, iWatch)
• Create Illustrator templates with defined guides and grids for other designers to use
• Design icons in a simplified style to translate across devices, languages, and cultures
• Design sets across business units (TD Public, TD Universal, TD Investing)
• Consider accessibility standards
• Regular reviews with Creative Director, Sophie Park
• Guide other designers via mini-workshop tutorials to ease the ongoing creation of these sets

Working in Illustrator art boards, designing systems, exploring ideas for icons, and illustrations, exporting SVGs, testing with devs, presenting, iterations, final sets, and building templates for designers.
