—ARI's goal is to cultivate creativity by creating an atmosphere of inclusion for groups that are often cast out and ignored. To encourage social change in every day through relaxation & play.

The participants were; adults with disabilities, children with cerebral palsy, young mothers in difficult circumstances, Burmese refugees, hill tribe kids, cross-gender & sexual preference communities, a home for girls taken away from prostitution, a teen boys prison, and regular after-school programs for neighborhood kids. Classes varied from making arts & crafts to art therapy exercises, painting murals, teaching skills, expressing yourself, sometimes making things people could sell, and creating space for creative play

We wrote & designed lesson plans that catered to each groups’ individual needs. Then reviewed, assessed, and blogged about these lessons afterward. Overall, this was a good reminder of personal connection and the many ways people learn. Possibly, a step towards work in the future.
